On the same day that Kevin Spacey was charged with felony sexual assault in the state of Massachusetts, the disgraced actor released a strange video as his House Of Cards character, Frank Underwood. In the last twenty-four hours, Kevin’s video on YouTube has been viewed 4.5 million times.
Titled Let Me Be Frank, the clip was shared by Spacey’s official Twitter account on Monday, and it appears to show Kevin addressing the controversy as his House Of Cards character.
Following his tweet, it accrued approximately 14,000 shares and 41,000 likes in just one day. The video came out around the same time that the Nantucket District Court in Massachusetts announced Kevin would be arraigned on the 7th of January.
The incident in question supposedly occurred in a Nantucket bar back in July of this year. In the clip, Kevin defends himself against #MeToo allegations and states that his side of the story hasn’t been heard yet.
Moreover, he commented on the way in which the House Of Cards producers and writers wrote his character off in its very last season in which he was replaced by Robin Wright.
As it was previously reported, Netflix fired Kevin following the allegations that came out involving Mr. Anthony Rapp, who claims Kevin assaulted him when he was a 14-year-old boy.
In the Christmas Eve video, Kevin says, “I know what you want, you want me back.” Viewers of one of Netflix’s biggest series know that Kevin regularly broke the fourth wall as Frank Underwood.
Furthermore, Kevin explains in the video that the public is very hopeful for him to come out and admit to his supposed wrongdoing and beg for forgiveness. However, “you and I both know it’s never that simple, not in politics and not in life,” the actor remarked.

Currently, Kevin is facing off against additional allegations in Los Angeles as well as in England. Netflix hasn’t had any comments yet. In the final words of the clip, Kevin suggests that the truth will come out sometime in the future.
