He spent his childhood years growing up in Stockholm, Sweden.
He started playing football at a young age and was on trial at Manchester United at the age of 14.
On July 9, 2022, Lucas Bergvall made his debut with Superettan in a 1–1 draw with Örgryte IS. He went on to score his first goal against Östers IF on October 4, 2022.
On December 9, 2022, he joined Djurgården and debuted with the team as a starter in Allsvenskan in the game against champions BK Häcken on May 24, 2023. Following his noteworthy contribution to his side’s 1–0 victory, Lucas Bergvall was described as the man of the match by the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet and it was also stated that he would become “Djurgården’s biggest transfer ever”.
The Guardian named him as one of the best players born in 2006 worldwide on October 11, 2023.
It was announced on February 2, 2024, that on July 1, 2024, Lucas Bergvall would sign a five-year contract with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. It was also reported that the transfer fee was £8.5 million.
He has represented the Sweden under-15, under-16, under-17, under-19, and under-21 teams in the international circuit.
